Measurements Necklace Lengths
How many beads will I need? Well, even without an Intel Inside Pentium Processor, you can calculate the number of beads needed for a strand using the following formula: Just remember that 1 inch = 2.54cm = 25.4mm (1cm = 10mm). So, multiply the length of the necklace by 25.4, and divide by the size of the beads in millimeters. Examples: 1) 18 inch necklace made with 4mm beads: Number of beads = 18x25.4/4 = 108 Remember: since beads may be irregular, this number is approximate. |
